How to farm knowledge points in Dragonflight? ›

You can find Dragon Isles Mining Knowledge in a number of ways. You can gain a point for every new ore that you discover upon first mining it, and whenever you receive resources from a deposit, you have a chance at receiving Iridescent Ore Fragments or a completed Iridescent Ore.

Starting Treasure Finding

Upon using the Notes, they will mark the location of the initial treasure on your map. Simply fly there and loot the Golden Dragon Goblet (found up on the ledge), to unlock access to the subsequent treasures.

First Craft is one of the main ways to acquire Alchemy Knowledge. Whenever an Alchemist crafts a new recipe, they will be rewarded with Dragons Isles Alchemy Knowledge and Artisan's Mettle. Just as its name suggests, First Craft only works once per recipe.

The Dragon Shard of Knowledge is a quest reward item. You can find it in the open world hidden treasures such as Expedition Scout's Pack. You need to turn these shards to a master artisan in Ohn'ahran Plains named Khadin as these items don't give Knowledge by themselves.

Knowledge Earned: You earn +1 Knowledge the first time you pick any new subtype of each of the two base mines. For example, you will get +1 Knowledge the first time you farm a Molten Serevite Deposit, a Rich Serevite Deposit, a Rich Draconium Deposit, etc.

All First Crafts grant one point of Alchemy knowledge. You can also get a large knowledge boost by seeking hidden Alchemy-specific treasures and the hidden profession master in the Dragon Isles, with the coordinates for both being easily accessible from the weak aura linked above.

After getting the spell cast on you at the end of the questline, you can pick up Dragon Shards of Knowledge from scout packs, or through looting enemies. If you want to partake in this hunt on your alts, complete the quest To the Azure Span (Azure Span 71.5, 80.5), then That's My Specialty (The Waking Shores 60, 71.4).

Players will now be able to give rewards to their allies instead of being forced to keep them, which is the case with some. The Dragonflight master loot system won't be changed much, however.

Is Alchemy worth it in Dragonflight? ›

Being an Alchemist means creating useful flasks and potions for all sorts of content, from basic stat boosts to speed boosts or invisibility potions. So, this profession is helpful for personal use and gold making through Auction House.

Far and away the largest chunk of Artisan's Mettle comes from First Time Bonuses. These Bonuses are new to the Profession system: broadly, the first time you craft or gather something, you gain Profession Knowledge.

By completing other players' orders, you not only charge a fee for this, but you also progress further in your specialization. This can be the best way to level Enchanting in WoW Dragonflight for some people. If you are lucky with the orders, you will get the First Craft Bonus every time you complete an order.

Gaining Talent Points in Dragonflight

Talent points are obtained by gaining character levels. You will receive 1 point every level, alternating between a class point for your Class Tree and a specialization point for the Specialization Tree.
