Nov. 2, 1979 Central Illinois Deaths Hilbert J. Thedens ELLIOTT (PNS) The funeral of Hilbert J. "Herb" Thedens, 77, who died Wednesday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, the Rev.
Kenneth Doden officiating. Burial will be in Elliott Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, and at the church after 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
He was born Oct. 7, 1902, at Blue Island, a son of Gustave and Wilhelmina Siemsen Thedens. He married Myrtle Hill April 18, 1937, at Blue Island. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Helen Siglin, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and Marjorie Ahlstrand, Woodstock; a sister Erna Bostedt, South Bend, and five grandchildren.
Mr. Thedens had lived in Elliott since 1948. He was a hardware dealer and had retired in 1972. Mr. Thedens was a member of Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, to which memorials may be made.

Guy L. Nettleingham, who died Sunday in Hoisington, was born and reared in the Cullom area. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Flessner left Thursday to attend the funeral of Miles Adams, Hayward, who died Tuesday.
