Good hotel with spacious rooms. The food was tasty but not hot enough and some more labels would be helpful so we would be tempted to try new things. The restaurant got very full at times.

So where to start, well the journey from the airport is 2 hours depending on how many drop offs there are. The receptionist are lovely although are rooms was not ready. After checking in we went for lunch in the snack bar which is the same as any others burgers hotdogs chips which was dry and salad, no ice-cream for the kids you at to buy them. The food and n the restaurant catered mainly for French not much for the kids. Towards the end of our stay there was no bacon and the guy on the grill kept disappearing so no eggs either. After we was allocated rooms as a party of 9 we had 1 downstairs and 2 on the first floor they was clean and mattresses was comfortable. The pool area doesn’t open until 9:30 and god help you if you go before the pool man will chuck your towels out, he was as miserable as sin. There was plenty off sun beds though. The pool itself opens at 10:00 and it’s freezing. Activities well it said daytime but we never saw any or the staff unless you was French they never spoke either. Nighttime for kids was mini disco then nothing we had a show 3 times in the 10 days we was there very poor. There is a bus stop at the back off the hotel which takes you to alcudia and a mini train which will take you down to the sea front. We walked it’s about 15mins to walk. Would I go there again no.

Stay for 5 nights inclusive. Hotel ground is beautiful. Love the high trees.. Feel so natural. Food are delicious, thou sometimes the food label is hard to find. No alternative sausages only pork sausages, but all good, plenty of seafood choices, which I love. My boy loves the burger in the snack bar😁. We don't drink alcohol, but the non alcohol pinacolada and hot chocolate at the bar are our favourite. Our room is near the bus stop, so a bit noisy. In other hand, it's super handy for us If we want to use bus😁. Local Bus services are brilliant and and only cost around 5 euro return to anywhere around Alcudia. We took bus no. 324 to old town and Alcudia beach, and playa de muro. Room interior is a bit outdated.. But all work properly and room were cleaned every day. Bed is comfy.. So it's all good. Swimming pool is beautiful only the water is cold😁. There was no big entertainment when we were there. Only small mini disco at indoor bar. There's the beach near by, son baulo beach... Not a big beach though. Take the 324 bus to Alcudia beach for the best beach. Overall we loved our stay and would love to come back again.

Lovely staff, helpful and friendly. Place is kept clean at all times. Swimming was fabulous and on colder days a heated indoor pool available! I asked for a kettle, got one on deposit no bother? All in all we relaxed and enjoyed it here and loved beach n town. Will return.

This hotel is not too bad. Rooms are tired and dated and no kettle in our room, which I think should be as standard. When we asked at reception, they told us all their kettles were 'rented ' out and there were no more. We ended up boiling water in the microwave, not ideal. Pool and pool area Spotless. Only tea/coffee/hot water machines in dining room on for breakfast. The pool bar had hot drinks but closed at 6 30pm. Beer ok. Food ok, but not too our liking hardly any chicken dishes at all,fish and meat in oily sauces. Breakfast good, selection of hot food ,pastries,eggs etc. Dining room staff very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't stay here again

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights all inclusive. The hotel staff was always very helpful and on hand. We arrived well after midnight and we're still offered food and drink at the restaurant. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. Playground in shaded area was great for children to play even on the hot day. Restaurant had plenty of food to choose from during meal times, and selection of snacks and fresh fruit were avaible throughout the day at the pool bar. The rooms themselves were a bit dated but clean and fresh towels were provided daily. There was a small kitchenette with a hob but it was useless as there was no kettle or pot to use. The fridge looked old and was quite noisy. Local town was lovely with beautiful beach, just 15min walk away from the hotel.

Just had a 3 night stay all inclusive with a group of 6 brothers and sisters in our 60’s. Great staff, food and value for money, Having stayed in 7 different hotels in Can Picafort this hotel is well due a refurbishment. We booked 3 rooms and were unfortunately given 3 rooms in totally different blocks which was quite inconvenient. Rooms spacious but with dark brown cupboards and furniture 25 years out of date. Microwave and stove ( not necessary as All inclusive but not kettle). Toiletries basic, ie, just a soap dispenser. The UK channels in our room were unobtainable but in other rooms working. A hazard to point out are the pavement Lights on the way to blocks 2 and 3 not working ( take a torch) quite dangerous, apart from that all good.

My husband and I spent a week all inclusive at Vell Mari Hotel let's just say we're not disappointed. The staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent something different every lunchtime and evening, our room clean daily, very pleased with our accommodation. We will definitely be back. We would recommend this resort to friends and family.We had a great, relaxing & peaceful holiday.

Bathrooms full of rust. Torn bedlinen and pillowcases. Fridge full of rust. Would not sleep cook or bathe here. Avoid this hotel. It's not a four star. Photos tell the real story. Don't be ripped off and find somewhere else. We left and found a decent hotel. Best decision ever.

Arrived at 10.30pm to check in and given our room card, after paying tourist tax fee. However the hotel is split in to several remote block of flats away from the reception & restaurant building! And being quite dark at night, with paving lights not working, had great difficulty getting to our block, which was furthest away in the compound. It was made more difficult by not having blocks numbered as our block was no 3, so had to check all the blocks in near darkness and no one showed us! We’re told we could have a late dinner at the restaurant but there’s nothing left to eat and slept hungry! The food is good and has good variety and quite efficient in clearing the tables and taking used plates. We stayed for a week at all inclusive. For breakfast, you have omelettes, scrambled egg and pancakes on hotplates, including baked beans, porridge and toast, of course. For lunch and dinner, usually have fish and meat cooked on hotplates. Also you have more options hot options including, Chips, pizza fish & meat dishes. The room cards often don’t work and you have to visit the reception to get it fixed, annoying if your block is far from away from the reception.

Very disappointing all the rooms are old and neglected. Very depressing. Many broken items. Shower gel dispenser broken. Door sticks into bathroom. Shelves missing in fridge. Needs complete painting. Very old decor but very basic maintenance needed.

Vell Mari is a great choice for a relaxing week, in lovely surroundings. There are plenty of food choices and nice staff, everyone seemed to enjoy their roles. Points of note - Excellent mattresses - firm and supportive Superb WiFi throughout the hotel and rooms, this is a #1 factor these days I think Great food and drink choices Beautiful grounds Lovely staff Room size - very good including balcony and even a kitchenette! Plenty of entertainment for kids I would definitely come back and maybe consider a room only or b&b option if that is available. There is a lidl across the road with all needs catered for. The hotel is on the edge of Can Picafort but it's only a 20 minute saunter down to the beachfront area If you are able, do consider hiring a pushbike, it really opens up the possibilities We cycled to Port Pollenca and back which was about 27 miles round trip. Well worth it. Also, Finca Son Real and Son Serra are just a few miles down the road and very lovely indeed. Thank you to all the staff at this fine resort Saludos!

Stayed here during the Easter Break. 1st time ever done an all inclusive and the hotel made it very worthwhile. Hotel grounds was always being cleaned, pool really inviting (did go in though most people used the sun lounger, most likely due to the time of yr :)) Nice for the family room to have a seperate bedroom for the adults. Kids used a sofa bed (really good idea). Lovely grounds and nice to be able to use the road outside for parking. Again thanks to Vell Mari for making our time away in Mallorca so special.

This is one of the best if not the best hotels we’ve stayed in for its star rating. The staff are endlessly cleaning the beautiful grounds. They are all polite clean and friendly. The beds are comfy, rooms huge. Food fantastic and drinks good. Indoor pool & sauna. Tennis great hit also. Bus to alcudia every 15min 4euro. Already looking to return in august. For the price I couldn’t fault a thing! Thankyou

This place was great 10days all inclusive with two kids! It’s clean, with food a plenty! The food was fine we could always find something we enjoyed! The staff were all friendly! (Unless you was picking an icecream to buy at the pool bar, nearly got man handled out of the freezer even though I had cash in my hand). We loved the pool, and the indoor pool when the weather wasn’t playing nice! The park on site was a huge hit as was the big one a five minute walk away! The entertainment was the standard holiday kids disco!! Followed by cheesy nighttime entertainment for the adults! It was my son’s birthday while away and the restaurant staff brought out a cake and sang happy birthday which was lovely! Yes the rooms are very dated but they were clean! If you want an Instagram worthy room maybe not the place for you! The cleaning team do a great job, fresh towels everyday and beds made! Thank you for a great 10 days!!
