Every Destiny 2 player's favorite robot dog, Archie, has gone missing yet again during Into the Light as part of a semi-secret series of quests. As of the May 21 update, Archie has taken off to the Dreaming City to do a bit of sightseeing, and it's your job to track him down to make sure he hasn't gotten himself into more trouble. Follow our walkthrough to find where in the Dreaming City Archie has gone.

How to Start "Where in the Dreaming City is Archie?"

As always, to start this latest quest, go to the Annex in the Tower where Archie usually hangs out directly in front of the hallway leading to Ada-1. Interact with his glowing neon pawprints to begin the quest, which first sends you to Ada. Speak with her, and she'll send you to the Dreaming City to talk to Petra Venj first.

Visit Petra Venj in the Dreaming City to ask about Archie's whereabouts.

Unlike most destination vendors, Petra Venj's location shifts depending on the week for the Dreaming City's curse. For the week of May 21, Petra is located in The Strand, directly east of where you spawn at the Divalian Mists. Fly to the Dreaming City, hop on your Sparrow, and head there. (Tag Petra's location on the destination map to get a target in the environment to help you on your way.)

Petra mentions that Archie was yapping about "someone being trapped in a well," but that's a clear reference to the Blind Well, a paracausal device and battle arena that's been around for quite some time.

Archie wanted to check out the Blind Well… but Guardians were fighting something scary, so he decided to wait outside the door.

You can technically run/ride your Sparrow to reach the Blind Well, but it's a long ride. Instead, select it on the destination map to teleport right into the Well.

You can leave the room even if it's in the middle of an event, so turn around from where you appear (the opposite direction from where bosses spawn during Blind Well) and pass through the milky barrier.

You'll find Archie's prints at the bottom of the stairs leading into the Well.

Archie heard about some mysterious bones that like to barter and, naturally, felt compelled to check them out.

A dog interested in some bones? Now that's pretty on-brand. The "mysterious bones" refer to the remains of the long-dead Ahamkara Huginn and Muninn deep in Harbinger's Seclude.

Fast-travel back to the Divalian Mists, hop on your Sparrow, and keep left to head toward the Spine of Keres. Proceed forward past the platform where a massive Taken Ogre spawns to reach the bridge leading to the Oracle Engine. As the bridge starts, however, drop to the left to land on a ledge that encircles the large rock. Follow that pathway down into a cave and through a portal. Take your first left and stay straight until you reach The Confluence. Once inside the main circular room, take the hallway on the left toward a Techeun statue.

Continue past the statue to reach Harbinger's Seclude. In the chapel-like area, head to the end of the left side to go through another portal. There will be two passages heading out. Take the one on the left that descends into a circular room.

Two alcoves on the other side of the room house the skulls of Huginn and Muninn. Achie's prints are in front of the Techeun statue in between them.

Archie felt like someone was playing a trick on him! He kept hearing the sound of a cat's purring permeating the Mists.

Fast-travel back to the Divalian Mists yet again and take roughly the same route as before, but instead of turning left through the blue cave toward the Spine of Keres, stop right before you turn.

There's a small shrine fairly deep inside a narrow cave below this ledge. You have to drop off the cliff to the ledge below and proceed through the cave until you see the pawprints.

Archie's last stop. He was hoping to say hello to the queen if she was around.

Do you remember how to access the Awoken Queen's throne room? Hop back up to the top of the cliff. Then, take the same path you did for the Ahamkara bones Archie saw through the Spine of Keres. When the Ogre Ascendant spawns, take the time to kill it so you can claim an Offering to the Oracle.

Then, proceed straight across the bridge to the Oracle Engine.

Hop up to the platform with the egg-shaped console where you can "Present Offering." This is realign the Oracle Engine to create a bright white portal to Queen's Court where Mara Sov's official throne is located.

There, on the edge of all creation, you will find the goodest boy. Offer him some Pawsitive Reinforcement, and he'll teleport away.

Return to Ada-1 in the Annex of the Tower.

All that's left to do is return to Ada-1 in the Annex since Archie is back. You'll receive an Ahamkara Bone and 10 Trophies of Bravery for your troubles.
